NEVER EMPTY

Not so long ago, I was into a huge circumstance. I was crying myself to sleep and was very discouraged and disappointed about how terrible my life is. I’ve lost a lot of material things, friends, and self-respect. I felt I was alone and depressed. Suddenly, I thought of Someone whom I terribly miss. I have not talked to Him for some time, nor I have visited His house to spend some quiet time with Him. I decided to go to His house, and there He welcomed me with open arms. He had me ate with Him, and then He said: “You know, I miss times like this. I called you on the phone, but I guess you were so busy. But I am glad that you remembered Me and the way to my House.” Then I tried to answer. But as I was about to utter, tears fell down my eyes…”I am sorry…I was hooked up with so many things that I did not find time to go here.” I thought He will get mad but He laughed and held my hand. He told me: “Why are you crying? Are you not happy that at last, you’re here with Me? C’mon, tell me what’s bothering you and let Me see if I can help.” Then our conversation went on. I told Him my problems. “Alright, I heard all of your sighs, let me tell you now, all of them will be RESOLVED today!” then He handed me a sealed envelope. I did not try to open it and just put it in my pocket. I was astonished. How can He say that? How can things turn out right in just a snap of a finger? ” Thank you for your time. I have to go now…” then I kissed Him goodbye, but I am still confused about what His final words mean….ALL OF THEM WILL BE RESOLVED TODAY.
As I am heading home, I felt so light and relieved. The depression and discouragement I had earlier suddenly vanished. While I was at the front doorsteps, I heard the sound of the grandfathers clock.  I reached for my keys and suddenly the sealed envelope fell on the ground. I opened it. There is a bank check with my name but with no amount in it. He just signed it. Underneath is a note that says: “Here’s a check. You can use it whenever and wherever you want for as long as it benefits you and your loved ones. Be sure to tell the bank that you went here and I handed you the check . This is my gift to you. It’s 12 in the morning. Happy Birthday!”
Now I understand Him when He said: ALL OF THEM WILL BE RESOLVED TODAY. I immediately called Him to thank Him for His gift. He answered in a sweet manner ” That is just a simple gift from me. You see, nothing is impossible if you believe.”
Then I replied: “Thank you Jesus and love you.”
